Terms of Service

The service

Orbit is a project-organization tool with a Trainee tier and an Astronaut subscription. The Trainee tier includes up to 3 Workspaces with the full journal, tasks, docs, and Daily Ritual experience. Astronaut (~$6/month) adds unlimited Workspaces and Google Calendar sync.

Accounts

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for keeping that account secure, and for the content you write in Orbit. You own your content; Orbit only stores and displays it for you.

Subscriptions and billing

Astronaut is billed monthly through Stripe. Prices may change, but you will always be notified before a renewal at a new price.

Cancel anytime from the billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Astronaut access until then. Your data is never deleted because you cancelled.

Refunds

Cancelling stops all future charges. If you were charged within the last 14 days and did not mean to be, contact us and we will make it right.

Your content

You own everything you write. Workspaces can be exported to markdown at any time, and we encourage regular exports. We never claim rights over your content beyond what is needed to store and display it for you.

Acceptable use

Use Orbit for your own projects. Don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to store unlawful material. It exists so one person can run their projects calmly — that's the whole rulebook.

Availability and disclaimer

Orbit is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it fast and available, but it lives on real infrastructure and things can fail. Please keep regular exports of anything precious.

Changes

If these terms or the service change materially, we will notify you in-app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Orbit after that means you accept the update.
