What Orbit is

Orbit is a calm project-organization tool. You sign in with Google, create Workspaces, and keep your journals, tasks, docs, and Daily Rituals there.

What we collect

Account basics from Google: your name, email address, and profile picture, received when you sign in.

Your content: the Workspaces, Journal entries, Tasks, Docs, and RitualItems you write. This is your data — you own it.

Calendar sync (optional): if you connect Google Calendar, Orbit stores an encrypted connection token and syncs Task blocks to a calendar named “Orbit · <your workspace>” that it creates for you. Orbit never touches calendars it did not create, and disconnecting deletes the stored token.

Where your data lives

Orbit content is stored in a managed Postgres database hosted on Neon. The app runs on Vercel. Calendar connection tokens are encrypted at rest before they touch the database.

Payments

If you subscribe to Astronaut, payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach Orbit's servers — Orbit only stores that you are subscribed.

What we never do

No ads. No analytics trackers. No selling or sharing your data with advertisers. No AI training on your content. Ever.

Third parties we rely on

Google (sign-in and, if connected, the Calendar API), Stripe (payment processing for Astronaut), Neon (database hosting), and Vercel (app hosting). Each receives only what is needed to run the service.

Deleting your data

Deleting a Workspace inside Orbit removes its content. Disconnecting Calendar removes stored tokens immediately. To delete your whole account and its data, email us and we will take care of it.
